KG+ 2026 EXHIBITION
Reconnecting the fragments of time
By overlaying photographs and waste materials, the memories of the land are rewoven.
The traces of time are visualized as art, raising the question of "regeneration" from within the landscape.
Artist Profile
Yuka Takanasu
Born in Aichi Prefecture. Head of the design firm "211design-meme-". Utilizing his perspective as a graphic designer, he expresses the boundary between travel and everyday life, as well as subtle, indescribable feelings, using a variety of materials.
He was selected as the inaugural recipient of the Ruinart Japan Award by KYOTOGRAPHIE x Ruinart in 2021. In recent years, he has been working on creating works that visualize the memories of land and the overlapping of time, treating photography (light) and waste materials (material) equally.
Photo books: "kiitos", "KIASMA", the color-themed "PAGES" series, etc.
