Surrounded by the scent of Kyoto cedar
Making small items from cedar wood grown in Kyoto 🌳

This Shop is a related event to the "Environment Month Special Exhibition: Circulating Forests and Life - The Circular Forms Connected by 'Mokuwaku®'" which will be held in the facility's 4th floor GALLERY from May 23rd (Sat) to June 28th (Sun).

Why not try making small items to brighten up your daily life using cedar wood grown in Kyoto 's lush forests?

This craft project involves assembling pre-cut boards using a laser cutting machine, so even young children can enjoy making it using wood glue.

On the day of the event, you can choose either a "tissue box case" or a "piggy bank." Let's spend a pleasant time feeling the warmth of wood while listening to stories about Kyoto 's forests and trees.
