January 17th is Disaster Prevention and Volunteer Day.
Join experts in this fun way to learn basic life-saving actions and sustainable preparedness.
[Part 1 14:00-14:30] "Protect" Quiz! ~What should you do if an earthquake occurs?~
Lecturer: Disaster Prevention Specialist Ota Oki
Children will learn life-saving knowledge through a quiz format that allows them to actively participate.
[Part 2: 14:30-15:15] Save your life with "magic cloth"! Parent-child survival packing
Etsuko Yamada, Yamada Fiber & Musubi
This practical Shop introduces furoshiki as a "magical cloth that can be freely shaped," and allows participants to learn techniques for wrapping, carrying, and transporting items that are useful in emergencies.
