A special set containing 10 items selected by discerning buyers.

On March 15th, we will be selling spring vegetable and fruit sets delivered from select farmers at "MAENIWA" in the main plaza on the first floor. Each item will be carefully packed into a reusable jute bag, without the use of plastic bags. This is the start of a rich spring culinary experience.

* The specific lineup isPlease see the image below.

Today's lineup

1. Tango Strawberries (Farm Okayoshi, Kyoto): This Kyoto brand uses 70% less pesticides and no chemical fertilizers. The perfect balance of rich sweetness and acidity, unique to the season, brings out an elegant fragrance.

(2) Rape blossoms (Kyoto Kamigamo, Yasumi Farm) Mr. Yasumi, who maintains the traditional "furisaki" method of selling rape blossoms, has faced the challenge of cultivating the soil. This is a seasonal vegetable that lets you feel the fragrance of spring.

3. Snap peas (Wakayama, Watanabe Farm):These specially grown, thick peas are carefully hand-picked one bunch at a time. Enjoy the freshness of the packed peas and the refreshing sweetness that brings to mind spring.

4. Shiranui (Wakayama, Tanaka Farm) -A healthy citrus fruit grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Enjoy the refreshing, rich juice that oozes from the bursting flesh.

5. Domestically grown paprika (Hashimoto Farm, Oita Prefecture) This rare, specially cultivated domestic pepper is extremely rare in Japan. It is surprisingly thick and packed with the natural flavor and fruity sweetness of vegetables.

⑥ Organically Grown Bananas (Farmin, Mexico)Certified organic by the JAS, these bananas have a rich flavor that can only be achieved by growing them at high altitudes. They are characterized by a refined sweetness that is not cloying and a crisp aftertaste.

7. Manganji peppers (Shibuya Farm, Kyoto) Grown using 50% less chemical fertilizer and taking advantage of the power of the soil, these Manganji peppers are harvested in early spring and have a very sweet taste.

⑧Kyo Asparagus (Kyoto ・Taguchi Farm) No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used. Spring asparagus, filled with nutrients stored in the roots during the winter, is characterized by its tenderness and freshness. Enjoy the sweetness that only the season can offer.

9. New potatoes are harvested from spring to early summer and shipped without storage, so their greatest feature is their high moisture content and fresh texture.

10. New onions: These are early-season onions that are available in early spring and are shipped immediately after harvest without being dried. Unlike regular onions, they have thin, white skin and are characterized by their high moisture content and freshness.

New potatoes and new onions are delivered directly from the production areas where they are at their most delicious at the time, allowing you to enjoy the taste of the season.

*The lineup may change depending on the weather or availability.
