GOOD NATURE CHRISTMAS
GOOD NATURE STATION, which is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, is running various promotions and events throughout the year under the theme of "5YEARS 5GOOD."
This winter, we will be holding a heartwarming seasonal event called "GOOD NATURE CHRISTMAS." Based on the theme of sustainability, we will deliver special moments to everyone with a variety of content, including eco-friendly decorations, fascinating Shop, and special gourmet events.
Forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the Christmas season at your own pace while surrounded by the breath of nature.
■ Christmas decorations
[Interior decoration]
A 4m-tall Christmas tree made from real fir will welcome you in the courtyard on the 4th floor. The tree is decorated with ornaments made from recycled paper and dried flowers that have been used in previous decorations, creating an environmentally conscious design. In addition, the dry landscape garden on the same floor will be illuminated with botanical lights that generate electricity using the natural energy emitted by plants, creating a space enveloped in a fantastical light. Through these decorations, you can experience the power of nature.
A sustainable tree made from recycled construction waste will be set up at "MAENIWA" on the first floor. The tree will also feature ornaments made from recycled materials by the "By-Products Store," a project that provides new value to by-products from artists' studios.

Hand-dyed landscapes
[GALLERY DECORATION]
The "GALLERY" on the 4th floor will host a special exhibition, "5YEARS 5GOOD," to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the store's opening.
The exhibition will look back on the five years of efforts under the concept of "5GOOD" - good for the body, mind, community, society and planet - and introduce the friends they met along the way who are connected by their "sustainability." Panel displays and collaborative decorations will deliver a message to visitors about a sustainable society.
The decoration was handled by "Balflor", with whom the cafe has collaborated on many occasions since the cafe's opening. In the center, an arch of air plants and beautiful plants is set up, creating a space that stimulates the senses with natural art. "Atelier Shimura" will be exhibiting plant-dyed fabrics made from cacao husk (the skin of the cacao bean), and you can enjoy a special installation that allows you to experience the richness of nature through your eyes and touch.

[Hyssop Christmas Party Plan]
We offer a Christmas party plan that you can enjoy casually with your family and friends. The main dish, decorated in a Christmas style, is a cream pot pie made with plenty of winter vegetables, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. In the DIY Christmas cake making, which can be enjoyed by both children and adults, you can decorate your own original cake using cookies, chocolate pens, and alazan. Enjoy a special Christmas surrounded by a cake that you have created with your own original ideas.

[Hyssop Christmas Dinner Course]
We present a special dinner course using only plant-based ingredients, available only for Christmas. A Christmas menu that is kind to both the body and soul, incorporating an abundance of seasonal Japanese vegetables. This course is rich in winter flavors, including an amuse-bouche of sake lees tart with Shimonita leeks, a ceviche-style appetizer of citrus and persimmon, and pasta made with five kinds of mushrooms, including porcini. The main course features lotus root and soy meat marinated in shochu soup, and is decorated with roasted burdock and beets. Please enjoy a variety of dishes that exude a Japanese atmosphere, created with the chef's unique ingenuity.

This year, ERUTAN has prepared a special Christmas dinner and lunch course. It is a gorgeous dish that will please your senses of taste, sight, and aroma, incorporating an abundance of organic vegetables and carefully selected ingredients from Kyoto. The main dish of roast beef and dishes using seasonal vegetables are made using ingredients carefully selected by the chef under the themes of "gifts from the producers" and "color," delivering safe and rich flavors. Please enjoy a memorable Christmas dinner with your loved ones.

[Strawberry Snow Garden Afternoon Tea]
This winter-only afternoon tea is inspired by a snow-covered garden and features a wintery red and white theme.
A cute and beautiful menu where you can luxuriously enjoy a variety of strawberry sweets such as precious white strawberries, strawberry macarons, raw chocolate, shortcake, and savory dishes made with winter ingredients. An original cocktail for toasting is also included.

[Christmas Dessert]
RAU has released a dessert limited to the Christmas season, based on the concept of a "takeaway assiette dessert." This dish is designed to resemble a pure white ceramic dish, and encapsulates the heartwarming atmosphere of Christmas.
Enjoy the rich flavor of strawberry and raspberry confiture wrapped in fromage mousse, rich vanilla cream, and layers of soufflé fromage and vanilla crumble cookies. Share this with your loved ones and enjoy a special time.

[Lighting Ceremony]
The annual lighting ceremony will be held in the evening on the first day of the event. During this ceremony, which will be held in the atrium courtyard, students from Assumption International Junior and Senior High School will play handbells and Christmas songs. Along with the music, the Christmas tree and countless lanterns will light up at once, and the entire building will be enveloped in a warm light.

- Kintsugi Jewelry Shop
Using the traditional Japanese repair technique of "Kintsugi," you can create your own unique jewelry by combining Shigaraki clay, Arita ware pottery fragments, and natural stones. Enjoy the experience of breathing new life into broken pottery fragments and transforming them into special jewelry.

- GNS x Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi Lacquer Shop Collaboration Upcycled Mini Lantern Making & Lacquer Painting Experience
While experiencing the traditional technique of lacquer painting, the work Shop creates a sustainable lantern by reusing the leftovers of wooden furniture that has finished its use. In the morning, you can enjoy lantern making at the facility, and in the afternoon, you can experience the lacquer painting technique at the Tsutsumi Asakichi Lacquer Shop, and you can also experience a tour of the lacquer workshop.
