This is the second installment of the highly successful collaboration event between washi paper and modern calligraphy held in February this year!
In just two hours, you can experience marbling on raw Japanese paper and inscribing your name in modern calligraphy (Western calligraphy) at the same time.

★Experience process
(1) First, you will experience marbling on a washi card.

(2) While the washi card is drying, practice writing your name using modern calligraphy tools (special pen and ink).

(3) Write your name in hiragana or the alphabet on the dried washi card, and your one-of-a-kind business card is complete! You can take it home as is.

[Washi paper] Mayuimi Morisaki
Representative Director of WACCA JAPAN Co., Ltd.

Graduated from the Living Design Department of Kuwasawa Design School in 1996. After working at a design office, she became a freelance graphic designer. After taking two maternity and childcare leaves, she founded WACCA JAPAN, a planning and production company specializing in washi paper, in 2014. In parallel with her graphic design work, she also began to pursue the possibilities of washi paper. She learned the samurai culture of washi paper, "Origami Eiho," at the Yamane Origami Eiho Class and obtained the "secret teaching" certificate.
WACCA JAPAN is a planning and design company specializing in washi paper. Based in Tokyo, we sell and plan and produce original washi products. We travel to washi-producing areas all over the country, visiting handmade washi artisans and paper manufacturers, carefully examining each piece of washi paper we encounter, and adding just a little bit of effort to bring out its quality.
