Spring limited edition afternoon tea and gorgeous sweets based on the theme of the combination of "Strawberry and Cherry Blossom" will be available. The sweet and sour strawberries and the fragrance of cherry blossoms create a special tea time experience. Delicate cakes with cherry blossom motifs and sweets incorporating Japanese ingredients will be offered, which can only be enjoyed here. Also available are limited-edition sweets and drinks that make the most of local ingredients, such as Miyama Miruku Sofutto made with strawberries produced in Kyoto prefecture and refreshing homemade strawberry soda!

In addition, there will be plenty of spring events that will bring new enjoyment. At the "hitsuji Garden" POP UP, warm objects made from natural materials will be on display and for sale. A Pilates experience with Eve, who is popular on social media, will refresh your mind and body while moving your body, and it will also be an opportunity to start a new health habit. In addition, the interior of the building will be decorated with a lot of attention, and the entrance and courtyard will be decorated with gorgeous cherry blossoms and spring flowers, creating a space where you can enjoy the arrival of spring visually. We use plenty of strawberries, which are in season only. We offer nine gorgeous desserts carefully crafted by our pastry chefs, and three savory dishes using strawberries and sakura shrimp. The sweets and floral arrangements incorporate Japanese elements with a cherry blossom motif, creating a special moment that feels like a cherry blossom viewing party to celebrate the arrival of spring. Please enjoy the scents and flavors of spring to your heart's content along with an elegant tea time.

[Strawberry and Matcha Parfait]

Introducing a new parfait that combines strawberries and matcha. The rich matcha panna cotta and crispy matcha crumble bring out the sweet and sour flavor of the strawberries. In addition, the addition of berry toppings and fragrant black tea jelly adds depth to the flavor. This is a luxurious dish that allows you to enjoy the fusion of Japanese and Western styles.

[Oka]

Inspired by the waka poems of Saigyo, this spring-only dessert expresses the taste of cherry blossoms without using cherry blossoms. The shape is reminiscent of a hill in full bloom, and passion fruit and matcha powder are used to create the budding of spring. Cherry and tonka bean cream and bergamot mousse are hidden to express the scene of gazing at the night sky on a grassland. This is a dish that allows you to experience Saigyo's worldview with RAU's unique interpretation.

This homemade round bread is made with plenty of fresh cream, soaked in vanilla bean-scented batter, and baked until fluffy. The strawberry tea, made with plenty of homemade strawberry compote, is a fresh cup of black tea from Tsukigase, Nara. The shortcake features a light combination of fresh cream accented with sour cream and strawberries. Please enjoy this new style of shortcake, eaten with a spoon.

[Spring cherry blossom viewing terrace plan]

This sharing plan allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a meal in the cherry blossom viewing mood on the terrace seats decorated with the gentle light of lanterns and cherry blossom decorations. We have prepared pastel-colored dishes with light flavors, using plenty of spring ingredients. The lineup is easy to pair with alcohol, such as Turkish eggs, which are soft-boiled eggs coated with asparagus in a sauce made from yogurt and mayonnaise, accented with spice oil, and hearty stewed chicken with a refreshing orange aroma. For this plan, we also recommend pairing with three types of wine selected by the sommelier.

Kyoto The menu included milky soft-serve ice cream made with strawberries from Miyama Prefecture and Miyama milk, Kyo-strawberry soda with its refreshing sourness, and a hearty salad of homemade chicken ham marinated in salted ham and served with Kyo-strawberries and apples, all healthy yet full of spring flavor.

Events & Decorations

[POP UP "hitsuji's Garden"]

A pop-up will be held for the sheep sculpture "hitsuji's Garden." A line-up of warm artworks using natural materials will provide visitors with a soothing time. The artworks, which are individually handcrafted using natural materials such as wood, wool, and leather, will harmonize with the natural atmosphere of spring and create a comfortable space. In addition to the standard products, spring-like colors will also be available.

[One-day experience of "GOOD NATURE Pilates"]

We will be holding a Mat Pilates trial session with Eve, who is very popular on social media, as the instructor. Even those who are not good at exercise can participate with confidence, and you will learn exercises that will help improve your posture and muscle strength.
After the experience, those who wish will be offered time to reflect on themselves through journaling (written meditation) while enjoying tea in the hotel lounge.

The entrance and courtyard of the facility will be decorated with flowers symbolizing spring, creating a gorgeous landscape. The floral arches and cherry blossoms in vases will bring a breath of spring into the building, warmly welcoming all visitors. Please enjoy the decorations that change with the seasons.
