Ashiya Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, is a scenic land facing the Genkai Sea. The original cosmetic brand “NEMOHAMO” is created there. Various plants such as panax ginseng cultivated and harvested in the company's exclusive farm that has acquired organic JAS certification and the adjacent satoyama are used as raw materials for "NEMOHAMO". We protect the surrounding rich soil by methods that do not discharge industrial waste and wastewater in the production process, and we do everything possible in the process from raw materials to manufacturing processes and sales, such as how to grow plants, the thoughts of producers, and how to use by-products. We guarantee traceability and ensure product safety.

The original sweets brand "RAU" is a brand that practices "Farm to Bar", where everything from selecting raw materials to manufacturing and selling is done by themselves. Chocolatiere meets directly with the producers of the original land to carefully select pesticide-free Costa Rican cacao, and trades through fair trade to maintain an equal relationship.
In addition, the outer skin (husk) of cacao beans is usually discarded, but we focused on its high nutritional value and flavor, and by our original food brand "GOOD NATURE MARKET", "cacao tea" and "cacao curry" tailoring. It is an attempt to utilize the blessings of nature to the very end.

5GOOD Salad, a signature menu of "KITCHEN" in "GOOD NATURE STATION". The hummus-inspired salad sauce uses bean curd lees that are discarded every day at a nearby tofu shop. Furthermore, surplus okara is handed over to agricultural producers and used as compost. The vegetables grown there are turned into salads again, creating a food cycle. Unavoidable food waste is composted with the garbage disposal machine in the "GOOD NATURE STATION" building with the cooperation of an NPO corporation. Farmers working on reduced pesticide agriculture and organic fertilizer cultivation use it as fertilizer, and the staff also harvested rice together at "GOOD NATURE STATION".

At GOOD NATURE HOTEL KYOTO, we are proposing a new accommodation style where guests bring their own disposable plastic amenities such as toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and razors. In addition, essential oils made from discarded thinned wood are used for original aromas, and "KITCHEN" in "GOOD NATURE STATION" offers take-out drinks in paper cups called butterfly cups. The entire building is implementing measures to "not throw away" and "reduce the burden on the environment", such as using materials that can be returned to nature for straws, knives, and forks.

In August 2020, "GOOD NATURE HOTEL KYOTO" won the "WELL Building Standard™ (WELL Certification)", which certifies buildings that consider the environment and health, with a gold rank, making it the first hotel in the world to receive WELL Certification. Got. In addition, even in the entire "GOOD NATURE STATION", the program "Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED certification)", which evaluates environmentally friendly green buildings, has been awarded a silver rank. This is the first acquisition of a complex commercial facility and hotel in the Kansai area. It is also the first hotel in the world to have both WELL Certification and LEED certification.
