We want to contribute to the future of agriculture by incorporating the viewpoint of "tourism"

GOOD NATURE STATION Then, with producers, we are promoting the creation of various programs to visit production areas, including agricultural experiences.

Such efforts can provide producers with a new source of income called “tourism income”. At the same time, it is also a proposal for "undertourism" to spend rich time in a relaxing place. This time, we will introduce our approach to that.

What you can understand only because you are growing crops

"It seems that fossils have been found here, but do you know anything?"

One day, Kyoto ・ When I met Takenoko Farmer in Fushimi. I was asked this kind of thing. I had no idea at all, but I was surprised to hear the answer. The fossil was "Chinanago".

If you are really Chin-anago, this place would have been the sea long ago. Kyoto I was surprised to find that the city was far from the sea.

Kyoto So, if you mention bamboo shoots, the Kasai district is famous, but I was told that even in Higashiyama, a lot of bamboo shoots can be taken.

What's more, Nishiyama and Higashiyama are similar in clay layers, and they all come from the fact that they used to be the sea. It is something that the sea is related to the soil where bamboo shoots are easy to grow, unless you are growing the crop there.

There are also other things that can be understood from the actual visit.

The producer's bamboo grove, which is made of herb-free bamboo shoots with herbaceous herbs, has sunlight as a whole. In spring, you can feel the soft sunshine and the refreshing wind, and in the morning you can hear the song of the bird and white-tailed birds.

When I was helping with the harvest, when I had the above “Five Senses Experience” while eating warm tea and sandwiches during the break time, I had a really blissful time.

There are many places where you can experience such an actual experience. "I want more people to know!"

I want to walk on a trip with farmers with "tourism" through agricultural experiences

The current connection between agriculture and tourism is dominated by recreational elements such as strawberry picking and mulberry digging. On the other hand, there is also an agricultural experience type that helps farmers plant rice planting and field work that they actually do, but it may be difficult to say that even if you want to do it, you can feel free to participate.

You can listen to the story of the producer and taste delicious things while touching the charm of the area. If there is such a new form of sightseeing, there should be many people who want to participate.

For example, the bamboo shoot farmers of Fushimi introduced earlier. In the morning, walking through a well-kept bamboo forest you will hear the birds singing. If you can put a sheet there and eat breakfast, it will be nice.

GOOD NATURE STATION Since it takes about 20 minutes by train, it may be better to provide lunches for going out in the Marche kitchen and to go to the locals and eat like a picnic. It is a spacious place, so even small children can come without concern. After eating, you can visit the nearby Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine Kyoto You can also enjoy sightseeing.

Besides, if it is a place where there are old houses, it may be a special experience just to listen to the story of the farmer while eating what was picked there. The landscape of the production area, the people's lives, the stories they tell ... not only crops, but there are countless valuable things.

If such an idea comes true, I think that it will not only be possible to introduce customers directly to the producers and the wonderfulness of what they have taken, but also to support the producers themselves.

Not only do you expect direct income from customers visiting the area to buy souvenirs, but it also creates connections with customers and may lead to ongoing relationships.

Also, because you can pay facility usage fees, in addition to the sales income of products, you can deepen the relationship with producers in a new form called “tourism income”.

For agriculture to be passed on to the next generation

We want to build a diverse relationship with our producers. In addition to purchasing products, we will use various methods such as tourism, and will seek our own efforts in order for producers to earn a stable income.

If the income is known to be stable, the younger generation may be interested in agriculture and may be a clue to the solution of the current shortage of successors. I believe that that should also lead us to continue receiving delicious and safe food.

New initiatives to help agriculture pass on to the next generation GOOD NATURE STATION I would like to send from
